Welcome home! You have a gorgeous place to work and that has to be good for the soul. It will be extra sweet right now, I am sure. Feel better, tie well.

When you get home from hospital, sit down, listen to Schubert's Trout Quintet, pour yourself your favourite drink and open up a copy of J R Hartley's 'The Art of Fly Fishing' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._R._Hartley) I challenge you to feel anything other than relaxed and smiling.

Get well soon though the fish are hoping you stay out of commission a little bit longer.

Hope you have a speedy recovery! The colors in that pic are amazing, no wonder the fish want to get at them!

Fishing provides that connection with the whole living world. It gives you the opportunity of being totally immersed, turning back into yourself in a good way. A form of meditation, some form of communion with levels of yourself that are deeper than the ordinary self.
Feel better

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
