Good to see you here Jim. As one of the men that inspired me to tie streamers at a very young age, I am forever grateful for our friendship.
Look forward to the unveiling of the streamers, David. I've really enjoyed our chats and getting to know you this past year. You are a superb tier and a gentleman. Hopefully we can sit down and tie together one of these days.
Thank you Mike, it is my pleasure to count you amongst my friends
Thank you Jamie,
It has been my pleasure getting to know you. I enjoy your tying very much
Randy,
The feeling is mutual my friend. Your humor, your attention to detail when tying and your enthusiasm...it is what this is all about
Yes you do Mike, and a few special ones too!!! You are a good friend and it has amazing journey watching your tying.
Kelly, you are a very talented streamer tyer. It has been my pleasure to watch your journey. The years to come will be very special ones for you. I look forward to every new fly that you tie.
David,
It is always good to see the face behind the avatar! I see that you bring years of experience and talent and share it so generously. I often save flies on Facebook that I like and publish some (with tyer permission!) on my website. I few month ago I saved one that is simply titled streamers365. It is quite beautiful. Have you posted on Facebook? Can't wait to see your offerings. Thanks for all that you offer to the fly tying community.
Thank you for your kind words Avril, the tying that you bring to the FlyTyer Forum is always welcomed by Beginners and Advanced tyers alike. You truly are a wonderful person and I am so glad to know you.
David, it's been great getting to know you and I too can't wait to see these flys. You are one of the best moderators ever and make us all welcome on the fly tyers forum.
Thank you so much.
Proud to know you on the Fly Tyers forum, would like to shake your hand someday. I like the way you leading yourself in life as best as I can see from here. I am intently looking forward to seeing these flys and more.
I want to see some flies also, I am so glad I joined Fly Tyer forum and have started to get to know more about and learning to tie streamers, thank you for all you do for our sport
Martin,
I found the BUGLE BEADS, thanks for the help. Once I knew they were bugle beads it was no trouble finding them. I think my first project came out great.

I recommend Foxit Reader from www.foxitsoftware.com.
It's much faster and smaller than Adobe. It's freeware.
boys, you need to sort your casting out.
Thanks to all who vote and take time to check out my photography.
I am a "lather" and make pens, pencils, candle holders, wine and bottle stoppers, etc. I have received a request from a friend to make some reel seats. How do I find the "plans" (specs) for the sizes and procedures for the seats and various handles?
If there is a file, or book, that covers these procedures, I would appreciate it.
Nice channel, nice videos.
Create to the future for fly fishing.
Please, insert my video in the channel.
Be more than happy.
Thanks.

I have hundreds of pounds of stabilized Buckeye Burl and wish to make and sell Reel Seats. I am interested in finding a source of the aluminum parts and tools, some instruction. 25 years experience on a wood lathe. Coop
[b:565b9b16ff]I enjoy curious quality tools that work...
[i:565b9b16ff]Eumer[/i:565b9b16ff] makes a simple but effective Tube Fly Tool... in two sizes...
The [i:565b9b16ff]LARGE[/i:565b9b16ff] worked nicely with my HMH 1/8" tubes [large]...
To better downsize my Dual Tube Phlyz notion, the [i:565b9b16ff]SMALL[/i:565b9b16ff] is well suited to hold 3/32" / 1mm tubes...
When paired with my Nor-Vise, the result is a fly lathe...
Go phigure!? [/b:565b9b16ff]

… I have a small favor to ask.
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
