Hola Martin,

Wanted everyone to know that they have grated the road to Punta Allen, and as of late November, 2011, it is as smooth as a babies bottom. At least until the next rainy season! Anyone can feel free to contact for road conditions or info.

Cheers, Capt. Greg & Lupita

Your request for info on the Deerfield or Westfield Streamers piqued some interest! Could you somehow get a picture of these flies on here? I will attempt to find out more from my club and a few friends that live in, and frequently fish those rivers!

David.... those good words have been spoken by up stairs.... I can only say:
You are Handsome and your Flies are Awesome...!!!

Many Thanks Roger, you have truly been a good friend to me. It has been a joy moderating the FlyTyer Forum with you. Without your Techie help, this Old Tyer would have been blind online. I think that you will be pleasantly surprised at the beautiful streamers that will be introduced on January 1, 2012. We shall make every attempt to get you hooked on streamers in the near future.

Gaeron my friend, it has been a pleasure watching you progress as a fly tyer. Your techniques and tying skills are impressive. I have no doubt that we will see your name in print soon. I also enjoy your blog at My Life On The Fly

Dear Tom,

My name is Jan Jankovic and I'm a professional fly fishing guide in Zepterpassport in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am really interested in this reel you made. Can you tell me how much does it cost? If the price is accessible I would be happy to buy it.

Kind regards.

I once found a fly box while fishing on the Ausable River (NY). The box contained an assortment of small custom tied flies sizes 16-22 or so. The above pattern happend to be in that box....dressed a tad more sparse than mine.

Adirondackflytyer,

Peacock AND elk hair!
What's not to love?

That has to be a killer fly - and yes, some one must have tied it before, but I have not seen it anywhere.

Martin

Jim, so nice of you to say my friend. It has been a pleasure reading and responding to your wonderful forum posts. Please keep them coming!

David,

You have been a great mentor to me, and you are certainly someone I look up to. I enjoyed listening to all the stories you told me in any of the various chat sessions. You have been a major inspiration to me, and you helped me push myself to become better and better. Although I'm no expert, I certainly wouldn't be at the level I am without out you. I truly appreciate you, and ll you have done for me, forum, and the fly fishing community,

Gaeron

Dave,

I'm looking forward to seeing the flies you've submitted for this project. Between you and Kelly, you two have really opened my eyes to a facet of fly tying I barely knew existed.

Roger

Darren, Thank you for the opportunity to share my streamers for such a worthy project. It has been fun. I look forward to my daily emails after the New Year.

Since you got this far …

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
